About
Femke Kok is a junior researcher (promovenda) at the Faculty of Philosophy of Radboud University Nijmegen. She obtained her Master’s degree in Philosophy and History (cum laude) at the Radboud University Nijmegen in 2005.
Since 1 October 2005 she has been working as a junior researcher on a dissertation project named ‘The Role of Theology in John Burdian’s Commentary on Aristotle’s Metaphysics’. It focuses on the medieval philosopher John Buridan († c. 1360) and his influential commentary on Aristotle’s Metaphysics. An important aspect of this project is the comparison of the views of John Buridan with those of the philosopher and theologian Marsilius of Inghen (of Nijmegen origins).
